We are a beautifully located rural primary school set on the picturesque border between Suffolk and Essex. Our catchment area is made up of many small villages including Bulmer, Gestingthorpe, Middleton, Great and Little Henny, Twinstead, Borley, Foxearth, Pentlow, Liston and Wickham St. Paul. We also welcome children from outside our catchment area! Please come and visit us and see why St Andrew's C of E School Bulmer is a great place to learn. Mrs Welch would be delighted to show you around our lovely school.
‘A welcoming, vibrant environment has the school vision at its heart, evidenced by displays, documentation and its ownership by staff and pupils alike. Great care and attention has been given to provide a curriculum which meets the needs of the whole child. This has a real impact on pupils who feel involved and valued. The values of respect and self-respect underpin relationships at all levels, and positive role modelling influences pupils in their friendships and support for one another. A parent highlighted the positive play between all ages. A pupil stated “we can talk our worries through together.” ’
